Aflatoun Program

Aflatoun International is an educational program that offers a curriculum on Social and Financial skills tailored to different age groups. Martyria started to implement the training with youth aged 15-20 and plans to pursue the training with lower age groups and eventually to be a hub for Aflatoun learning all over Cairo. Martyria started its partnership with Aflatoun International in March 2023 and started implementing the program in September 2023 in two phases.

 

  • The first phase was in cooperation with the Little Flock organization for Development in the “Brighter Future” program to deliver Aflatoun curricula as a part of the capacity-building training provided to the youth beneficiaries of this program.
  • The second phase started in February 2024 when the program was delivered to 320 students in the 10th grade at the Salesian Don Bosco Institute.

AflaToot (4-7 years)
A two week summer camp was made in Martyria headquarters. Through everyday activities, they learn the basics of saving, spending, and resource management.
AflaTEEN (Teens)
The program was delivered to 320 students in the 10th grade at the Salesian Don Bosco Institute. Through interactive sessions, they explore diverse topics, including financial literacy, gender equality, and cultural awareness.
AflaYOUTH(16-24 yeas)
Cooperated with “Little Flock” organization by delivering AflaYOUTH curriculum to the beneficiaries of “Brighter Future” program to support their journey into adulthood amid rising unemployment and economic challenges.
